First Grade Math

Our first grade math provides students the fundamentals in a way that is not just effective, but also fun. When students learn to add, they use a combination of counting strategies and subsitizing. Practicing counting all, counting on, and counting by tens with manipulatives helps students build their number-sense in the concrete stage.

First grade math fluency also aims students with the tools and confidence they need to learn more advanced concepts down the road.
