Drop-in playgroup for children aged 1.6 – 3 years old

The Nursery Prep Program is a playgroup program designed to give young children the foundation skills to prepare them for the kindergarten school.

What they learn?

Our playgroups provide opportunities for parents and teachers to get together with the young children to connect and learn through play. The classes offer endless opportunities for children to explore, invent, reason, and solve problems through many interactive activities. The Nursery Prep students learn the basic language and cognitive development, dance and movement, and perceptual and motor skills development.  They are shown how to take care of their surroundings and help tidy up the classroom. Much emphasis is on building creativity, curiosity, self-esteem, concentration, and independence using child-centered and ‘hands-on’ approaches. Some of the activities include:

Facilities:

The Nursery Prep is designed to have children learn through play. Therefore, we have bright and cheerful classrooms specially designed for our young students with various educational resources. Children have fun time at the school’s indoor and outdoor play areas, where they can freely play, express, and socialize with their peers.
We also believe that children at this age can learn and do more things. That is why Nursery Prep is also introducing the exclusive learning of the lunch time with their peers, where children will benefit immensely from gaining independence and practical life skills as early as possible.

Medium of Instruction:

The playgroup is a 100% English based by our native English-speaking teachers. Children are taught in English throughout the session.

Hours & Session:

The Nursery Prep is conducted Monday-Friday from 10:00-12:30, which is 2 hours and 30 minutes per session (lunch inclusive).

Age Acceptance:

The Nursery Prep accepts children aged from 1.6 to 3 years.

One Child, One Parent Policy:

The Nursery Prep strictly follows ‘one child, one parent’ policy.
