SPEECH & DRAMA Grade 11 | Ms. Norina Joy
In preparation of their performance for the Health and Spiritual Emphasis Week, speech & drama students are currently applying cross-curricular learning and expanding knowledge to study, interpret, and creatively perform the parables of Jesus through pantomime acting.
Pantomiming allows students to focus on necessary skills in stage acting on actors’ deliberate, exaggerated movements and facial expressions for the audience to grasp the plot of the soon to be performed parables.
“With cross- curricular learning, my students establish patterns of information between stage acting and Bible lessons as it offers them an innovative way to recognize and develop practical skills through a study of interconnected topics.”
