Our AP Psychology students had an amazing experience creating their own neuron models using candies!
With each candy element symbolizing a specific component of the neuron, such as dendrites, myelin sheath, and axon, the activity not only gains hands-on understanding of the complex structures and integral parts of neurons, but it fosters creativity and teamwork. Indeed, the world of neuroscience is fascinating!
