High School’s First STEM Project
This school year’s first STEM project challenges the high schoolers to create water filtration systems.
As part of the challenge, their water filtration system should be able to reduce the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) level of a water sample. Moreover, a turbidity test will be conducted to further evaluate the effectiveness of their filtering system.
This kind of activity is part of RAIS’ way of engaging students to exhibit their scientific skills, mathematical capabilities, and utilization of technology in creating solutions to real life challenges.
