Grade 10 AP Biology
Last week Grade 10 AP Biology students gained practical exposure by getting involved in real-world laboratory procedures that are used in DNA technology like the extraction of DNA, DNA gel electrophoreses, and genetic recombination. The students got the opportunity to understand how DNA technologies can be used to improve health conditions such as Covid, and H1N1, by developing new vaccines and pharmaceuticals.
“AP Biology features student-directed and inquiry-based labs. These lab works are very important for the exam. The students need to understand what reactions take place, the steps of the procedure, and how to intercept those results.”
