Social Studies Grade 8 | Ms. Jo Anne

Social studies for G8 started with the topic Reconstruction Era. Students learned about the struggles of African Americans after slavery and how they fought for their freedom and rights.

“By understanding their experiences, students value and respect other races, colors, and conditions. I hope that by the time the school year ends, grade eight will come to love history and value their future.”
