Sugar Sugar Everywhere

During this lab visit, Mrs. Sudha helped the students of the high school to learn how to find out how much sugar is in some of the normal foods we eat.

This was an enlightening experience because very few people realize how much sugar is in the food we eat. It’s recommended that ‘children from 2-18 should only have about 8 teaspoons of sugar a day’. One single soft drink can contain up to almost 10 teaspoons.
