Over the weekend, the faculty of RAIS spent the day taking part in eight professional development (PD) seminars/workshops onsite. The sessions included topics such as: designing effective assignments, using Tech. to enhance teaching, motivating students to read, being critical thinking, and positive & negative reinforcement.
Although the goal of PD for teachers is for their instructional improvement, it’s certain that the student achievement should be the ultimate goal of any teacher professional development activities.
